Tips on saving money

Whether you have a low income job or are looking to save up for something, here are a few things I'd recommend doing.

First of all, get it through your head that allot of the things in life are a luxury, back in the hunting and gathering days, you only needed water and some sort of food to survive. Anything that is not needed for survival is a luxury, now whether or not you deem it worthy for survival is up to you.
I'm gonna base this on the monthly pay of 300 dollars and prices in my country. (this was for 2021...)

Cigarette packs are around 2.5$, I see people smoke a pack a day or a pack in the span of 2 days, that's around 75$ or 37.5$ per month. Fight the nicotine addiction save your body and your wallet.

Soda. Let's say you drink a bottle of 1.5L soda every day, that depending on the brand is from a dollar to a dollar and a half. If you drink it every day that's either 30 or 45$, if you drink it in the span of two days, that's 15$ to 23.5$. Once again fight your sugar fixation, loose unwanted fat, improve your health, save some money. I lost 7 kilos after I quit soda cold turkey.

Coffee, in of itself is a luxury, once you get the initial couple cups in your body, the effect of caffeine (just like every other substance that changes your chemical balance in the body) starts to lessen and you grow an addiction. Being that I don't drink coffee I cannot estimate the savings of coffee withdrawal, but if you drink coffee you can make a rough estimate yourself.
