The weird color coding of Yugoslavia
Upon actually doing anything in this apartment I have to fix most of the electricals.
But this apartment was designed by Japanese Architects, overseen and built by Russians, alongside Macedonian builders back in the 70s.
Which means it's 50 years old when nothing was standardized so god knows to which standard this was wired.
Many swapped electrical outlets and circuit breakers later I've come to the conclusion that instead of making it like the rest of the world ol Socialist Yugoslavia had to make it weird.
So here goes
Three Phase Power
Yellow - Phase
Blue - Phase
Mono Phase Power
Black - Phase
Gray - Neutral
Red - Ground
I hope this helps anyone in the region of Balkans that has no idea what's goin on with their electrical install.
